POMONA, Calif. --
The payout for the season-ending Full Throttle Pit Crew Champions are as follows: Top Fuel $25,000; Funny Car $25,000; Pro Stock $15,000; and Pro Stock Motorcycle $5,000. The champions will receive their awards at the POWERade Series awards ceremony Monday, Nov. 17 at the Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City. The Full Throttle Pit Crew Championship program awards bonus money to one team from each of the four professional categories attending NHRA POWERade Series events. The program utilizes a points system, generally based on a combination of qualifying position and elapsed time to determine and award Full Throttle Pit Crew Championships. Schumacher was led by his crew chief Alan Johnson on his U.S. Army dragster with seven event honors; Force by Dean Antonelli on her Castrol GTX Ford Mustang with six event honors; Johnson tuned his own ACDelco Chevy Cobalt with seven event honors; and Hines by his brother Matt on his Vance & Hines Screamin' Eagle Harley Davidson with five event honors.
