Left Lane: Roger Brogdon Runs 6.837/201.55, Now #13; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Gordie Rivera Runs 7.287/153.49, Now #14; No Prior Run

Weather conditions: air temperature 81 degrees, relative humidity 28 percent, barometer 28.03 inches, adjusted altitude 4,116 feet, track temperature 102 degrees.

Jones with a nice pass...Gray was real loose right off the starting line.

Right Lane: Mike Edwards Runs 6.724/205.10, Now #7; No Prior Run

Edwards with a real nice pass to move into the top half of the field. Mike Edwards' incremental times: 60ft-1.002 sec., 330ft-2.812, 660ft-4.324/162.76 mph, 1,000ft-5.626 Deceglie with good pass to get into the show. Vinnie Deceglie's incremental times: 60ft-0.993 sec., 330ft-2.811, 660ft-4.329/162.22 mph, 1,000ft-5.640 These two bump out Brogdon and Gray.

Humphreys with a nice pass to get into the show...Stanfield slows from yesterday, but runs the same E.T. as Humphreys. Justin Humphreys' incremental times: 60ft-1.009 sec., 330ft-2.827, 660ft-4.346/162.20 mph, 1,000ft-5.655

Morgan does not get into the show. No help here for Krisher.

Gaines does the burnout and has problems and gets shut off. WJ makes a quick move toward the wall, but reels it in. He doesn't improve and stays No. 1.
