Left Lane: James Surber Runs 9.565/158.39, Now #13; No Prior Run

11:42 a.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 81 degrees, relative humidity 28 percent, barometer 28.03 inches, adjusted altitude 4,116 feet, track temperature 102 degrees.

It sounded like Surber's transmission slipped out of gear.
