Left Lane: Urs Erbacher Runs 3.951/303.43, Now #7; Best prior run: 9.411/79.47, Was #21

Weather conditions: air temperature 78 degrees, relative humidity 28 percent, barometer 28.07 inches, adjusted altitude 3,874 feet, track temperature 87 degrees.

Erbacher with a great looking pass with the header flames shooting high over the rear wing. He goes to the number seven spot...Urs Erbacher's incremental times: 60ft-0.883 sec., 330ft-2.215, 660ft-3.158/268.33 mph, 1,000ft-99.999

Vandergriff is up in smoke as soon as he hits the throttle.

Left Lane: Mike Strasburg Runs 7.151/97.56, Now #20; Best prior run: 7.206/49.34, Was #19
Right Lane: Doug Herbert Runs 4.276/257.43, Now #12; No Prior Run

Strasburg was up in smoke right off the starting line and clicked it off. Herbert lost traction right off the starting line and pedaled it a couple times to get in the show for now.

Right Lane: Troy Buff Runs 7.097/82.95, Now #18; Best prior run: 8.344/74.93, Was #22

Langlo was up in smoke as soon as he hit the throttle. Buff lost traction early and clicked it off.

Right Lane: David Grubnic Runs 3.874/308.99, Now #2; Best prior run: 7.114/88.37, Was #19

A couple good looking passes for the Kalitta team cars as they go to the number two and four spots. Doug Kalitta's incremental times: 60ft-0.880 sec., 330ft-2.209, 660ft-3.118/276.24 mph.
David Grubnic's incremental times: 60ft-0.864 sec., 330ft-2.193, 660ft-3.097/277.77 mph.

Right Lane: Cory McClenathan Runs 3.852/314.17, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.955/89.61, Was #18

This was a great drag race with Brown going to the number one spot. Antron Brown's incremental times: 60ft-0.853 sec., 330ft-2.149, 660ft-3.048/280.31 mph. Cory Mac with a great pass to go to the number three spot. Cory McClenathan's incremental times: 60ft-0.863 sec., 330ft-2.174, 660ft-3.084/277.32 mph.

No help her for Todd. Will with a great pass to go to number four spot. Hillary Will's incremental times: 60ft-0.852 sec., 330ft-2.171, 660ft-3.077/277.72 mph.

Right Lane: Steven Chrisman Runs 12.378/80.70, Now #18; Best prior run: 4.435/267.11, Was #18

Chrisman was up in smoke as soon as he hit the throttle. It appeared McMillen pushed a head gasket out on the top end with a quick flash of flame.

Left Lane: Brandon Bernstein Runs 6.858/93.11, Now #10; Best prior run: 3.916/311.20, Was #9
Right Lane: Morgan Lucas Runs 3.895/307.86, Now #8; Best prior run: 4.329/211.36, Was #17

Bernstein is up in smoke around 300 feet and clicks it off. Lucas with a good clean pass to get into the show and that bumps out Erbacher. Morgan Lucas' incremental times: 60ft-0.864 sec., 330ft-2.194, 660ft-3.114/275.17 mph.

Left Lane: Larry Dixon Runs 3.831/313.88, Now #2; Best prior run: 3.905/311.20, Was #9
Right Lane: Joe Hartley Runs 6.093/103.73, Now #16; Best prior run: 4.089/294.43, Was #16

Hartley is up in smoke by 150 feet and clicks it off. Dixon launched hard and keep it hooked up to go to the number two spot. Larry Dixon's incremental times: 60ft-0.859 sec., 330ft-2.166, 660ft-3.066/280.31 mph.

Right Lane: Tim Boychuk Runs 4.097/234.78, Now #15; Best prior run: 4.076/240.77, Was #15

Millican is up in smoke early and shuts it off. Boychuk starts to lose traction and pedals it once and then twice before he clicks it off.

Right Lane: Rod Fuller Runs 3.863/313.44, Now #6; Best prior run: 3.939/303.64, Was #12

Schumacher and the Army team show why the will be the Champion again this year with a great looking pass. He goes to the number one spot and runs the tenth fastest pass in the 1000-foot era. Tony Schumacher's incremental times: 60ft-0.845 sec., 330ft-2.130, 660ft-3.021/281.60 mph. Fuller with a nice looking pass to get into the top half of the show. Rod Fuller's incremental times: 60ft-0.865 sec., 330ft-2.180, 660ft-3.094/276.41 mph.
