Payne left first for the third round in a row, Knowles was once again late, and Payne made a nice run to advance to the final round.

This was a close drag race, Lang with the better l;ight, Ray with the better run and the win. Scott Ray's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.017), 330 ft(0.003), 660ft(0.005), 1,000ft(0.007). MOV: 0.0061 seconds (approximately 2 feet). Ray will have lane choice against Payne in the final round.
