MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Notes from final, round 4 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 21st annual O'Reilly Mid-South Nationals presented by Pennzoil listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Right Lane: Matt Guidera Runs 7.822/133.65, Now #17; Best prior run: 7.143/184.12, Was #17

2:26 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 84 degrees, relative humidity 40 percent, barometer 29.69 inches, adjusted altitude 2,563 feet, track temperature 114 degrees.

Guidera has problems late in the run and shuts down.

Left Lane: David Hope Runs 7.162/181.11, Now #18; Best prior run: 25.109/22.52, Was #19
Right Lane: GT Tonglet Runs 7.129/184.14, Now #16; Best prior run: 7.089/185.97, Was #16

A couple of pretty decent runs for the conditions but no improvement for either rider.

Right Lane: Joe DeSantis Runs 7.150/185.38, Now #13; Best prior run: 7.071/187.13, Was #13

Pippin gets out of the groove, heads for the centerline, but pulls it back to the groove.

Right Lane: Angie McBride Runs 7.177/179.11, Now #12; Best prior run: 7.061/184.02, Was #12

Sampey makes an impressive run for the conditions and moves up a notch to the tenth spot.

Right Lane: Michael Phillips Runs 7.061/190.22, Now #8; Best prior run: 7.015/192.47, Was #8

Arana ties Sampey for the quickest run of the round so far and moves ahead of her in the field based on his quicker speed.

Left Lane: Craig Treble Runs 7.014/185.74, Now #8; Best prior run: 7.019/188.12, Was #9
Right Lane: Eddie Krawiec Runs 7.011/188.83, Now #7; Best prior run: 7.002/190.19, Was #7

Treble makes his quickest pass of the weekend and moves up a notch to the eighth spot. no problems for Krawiec on this pass and he runs the quickest of the round so far.

Right Lane: Karen Stoffer Runs 7.037/187.31, Now #6; Best prior run: 7.000/188.33, Was #6

Right Lane: Steve Johnson Runs 7.103/183.69, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.996/188.28, Was #5

No improvement for either rider.

Ellis really slows from his earlier pass but will start from the top spot tomorrow.
