ENNIS, Texas - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 23rd annual O'Reilly Super Start Batteries NHRA Fall Nationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Redell Harris Runs 7.441/173.90, Now #17; No Prior Run

6:29 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 86 degrees, relative humidity 41 percent, barometer 29.44 inches, adjusted altitude 2,976 feet, track temperature 107 degrees.

Harris drifts to the right all the way through the run but keeps it off the centerline. He makes a decent pass but doesn't make the show.

Right Lane: Steve Johnson Runs 7.135/183.17, Now #15; Best prior run: 25.992/170.90, Was #19

Johnson makes a clean pass but doesn't make it into the top twelve. Llewellyn improves a little but doesn't get in the field.

Berry makes a big improvement but still can't get in the show.

DeSantis slows from his earlier pass and stays in the tenth spot. Hope improves slightly but not enough.
