This is the first time Humphreys and Yates have faced each other in eliminations. Humphreys is first out of the gate, and never looks back for the win.

Gaines one of the five Countdown to 1 competitors to survive round one. Gaines with the starting line advantage and the power to hold on for the hole shot win by 0.0223 seconds (approximately 7 feet).

Anderson is 25 - 15 against Johnson in prior events, and 4 - 3 advantage in round two meetings. The No.1 and 2 guys in the points. Johnson with a great light and never looks back to take the win light. He moves within five points of Anderson for the number one spot. Kurt Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-1.009 sec., 330ft-2.813, 660ft-4.313/164.65mph, 1,000ft-5.606 Johnson will have lane choice over Gaines in the semifinal.

Line is 12 - 7 against Coughlin in prior events, and a 6 - 3 advantage in round two meetings. Number three and four in the points chase. Coughlin with a great light and he will take the win by 0.0281 seconds (approximately 9 feet). Coughlin will have lane choice over Humphreys by 0.002 seconds.
