NHRA Drag Racing Champ to Visit Brenner Children's Hospital on Monday, Sept. 8th

WINSTON SALEM, N.C. -- NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Champion, Matt Smith along with his teammate, Angie McBride will visit
the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center's Brenner Children's Hospital in Winston Salem,
North Carolina on Monday, September 8th.
Smith, the 2007 Pro Stock Motorcycle Champion and McBride will sign autographs and visit with the
kids and their families en route to the pre-race activities for the Countdown to the Championship
in Charlotte, North Carolina next weekend.
"We hope to give the kid's something to smile about this Monday," said Smith and McBride. "We just
want to make their day a little brighter as I'm sure they will ours as well."
Brenner Children's Hospital, part of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, is the eighth
busiest children's hospital in the nation and cares for children in a family-friendly environment
that reflects a deep understanding of the needs of children.
