Hagan was second at the green and just couldn't catch a streaking Bateman.

Harker closed his eyes and let the clutch out! .002 just doesn't happen a lot in these cars. Snyder is in the box even though he was .05 quicker. Harker loses choice to Smith by .004.

Manzo whacked the pedal several times to free a sticky throttle. It works and he's one round closer to that record setting 10th Indy win. Moats shook hard and Manzo took an easy one. He faces Bateman in the semis with lane choice...how not?
