NORWALK, Ohio - Results of round 2 eliminations in Funny Car at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, Second annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals:

Weather conditions: air temperature 82 degrees, relative humidity 43 percent, barometer 28.77 inches, adjusted altitude 3,468 feet, track temperature 114 degrees.

Pedregon is 18 - 7 against Wilkerson in prior events, and 8 - 3 in second round meetings. They leave together and then it was all Pedregon. Wilkerson was dropping cylinders on the top end.

Capps is 25 - 9 against Worsham in prior events, and 11 - 1 in second round meetings. Capps with the starting line advantage and never looked back for the win light. Worsham started to shake the tires and pedaled it, but by then it was all Capps. Capps will have lane choice over Pedregon in the semifinal.

Hight is 7 - 0 against Densham in prior events, Hight won the only time they raced in the second round. Densham with the starting line advantage, but Hight had the difference made up by the time they went by the Christmas tree. Hight with the quickest pass of the round, so far. Densham had the chutes out early.

Pedregon is 1 - 0 against Tasca III in prior events. Pedregon with the starting line advantage and just drove away with a nice pass. Pedregon will give up lane choice to Hight in the semifinal.
