ENGLISHTOWN, N.J. -- Special awards from the 39th annual Lucas Oil NHRA SuperNationals.

U.S. Smokeless Showdown award ($4,000 to the No. 1 qualifier in Funny Car) - Jim Head, Galena, Ohio, Head Racing Toyota Solara, 4.803 seconds, 320.51 mph.

K&N Filters Horsepower Challenge award ($3,000 to the No. 1 qualifier in Pro Stock) - Greg Anderson, Charlotte, N.C., Summit Racing Pontiac GXP, 6.599 seconds, 209.23 mph.

Ringer's Gloves Pro Bike Battle award ($1,000 to the No. 1 qualifier in Pro Stock Motorcycle) - Chris Rivas, G-Squared/S&S Racing Buell, 6.923 seconds, 191.92 mph.

Hedman Hedders Best Engineered Vehicle ($1,000 to the best engineered vehicle) - Super Gas entry. Driver: John Asta, Levittown, Pa.

NHRA Best Appearing Car - Super Stock entry. Driver: Bucky Hess, Bunker Hill, W.V.

NHRA Best Appearing Crew - Top Alcohol Dragster crew. Tom Pickette, Salem, N.H.

Full Throttle Pit Crew Championship ($3,000 each to Top Fuel and Funny Car's top crew, $1,500 to Pro Stock's top crew, and $750 to Pro Stock Motorcycle's top crew) Driver/crew chief:
Top Fuel: Antron Brown/Lee Beard, Matco Tools dragster crew
Funny Car: Del Worsham/Chuck Worsham, Checker Schuck's Kragen Chevy Impala SS crew
