TOPEKA, Kan. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 20th annual O'Reilly NHRA Summer Nationals presented by Castrol GTX listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:
Right Lane: Bob Yonke Runs 6.870/200.62, Now #1

3:55 p.m.

Left Lane: Lamar Swindoll Jr Runs 6.903/200.20, Now #3
Right Lane: Ben Watson Runs 6.869/200.23, Now #1

Swindoll was to the right of the groove for most of this pass.

Left Lane: Larry Morgan Runs 6.837/202.00, Now #1
Right Lane: Todd Hoerner Runs 6.873/201.46, Now #4

Morgan with the quickest and fastest pass of the session. Larry Morgan's incremental times: 60ft-1.014 sec., 330ft-2.861, 660ft-4.398/160.10mph, 1,000ft-5.721
