BRISTOL, Tenn. - Notes from final, round 4 qualifying in Top Fuel at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, Eighth annual O'Reilly NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals presented by Q listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Troy Buff Runs 7.602/126.90, Now #15; Best prior run: 10.735/95.99, Was #15
Right Lane: Alan Bradshaw Runs 11.289/71.48, Now #16; Best prior run: 11.380/85.45, Was #16

Bradshaw was up in smoke right off the starting line. Buff made it to about 200 feet before he lost traction.

Left Lane: Morgan Lucas Runs 4.728/305.36, Now #13; Best prior run: 4.770/267.11, Was #13

Lucas with his quickest pass of the weekend, but he will stay number 13. Morgan Lucas' incremental times: 60ft-0.902 sec., 330ft-2.260, 660ft-3.194/268.17mph, 1,000ft-4.005

Right Lane: Bob Vandergriff Runs 4.779/241.71, Now #11; Best prior run: 4.598/313.00, Was #11

Vandergriff started hazing the tires around 800 feet and then it pitches the blower belt. McClenathan with a nice clean pass. Cory McClenathan's incremental times: 60ft-0.863 sec., 330ft-2.179, 660ft-3.109/269.03mph, 1,000ft-3.906

Right Lane: Rod Fuller Runs 4.585/322.73, Now #9; Best prior run: 4.584/316.23, Was #9

Dixon pitched the blower belt around 800 feet. Fuller just a tick off his quickest pass of the weekend...Rod Fuller's incremental times: 60ft-0.889 sec., 330ft-2.214, 660ft-3.125/277.66mph, 1,000ft-3.900

Right Lane: Doug Herbert Runs 6.783/120.51, Now #7; Best prior run: 4.578/316.97, Was #7

Todd lost traction right off the starting line and clicked it off. Herbert start to haze the tires around 300 feet and lifted and then hit the throttle one more time before coasting on though the 1320.

Bernstein with a nice clean pass...Brandon Bernstein's incremental times: 60ft-0.864 sec., 330ft-2.177, 660ft-3.112/270.54mph, 1,000ft-3.902 Will matches her quickest pass of the weekend, and will stay number five.
