Hoerner's first run was DQ'd for weight, Wilson's for fuel.
WIlson got a little out of the groove early, pulls it back into the groove, but doesn't get in the
show. Hoerner makes a clean, straight pass but just misses the field. Left Lane: Gordie Rivera Runs 6.900/199.94, Now #22; Best prior run: 12.329/70.10, Was #25 Right Lane: Tom Hammonds Runs 12.813/66.37, Now #26; Best prior run: 14.460/43.20, Was #26 Hammonds makes a move to the left, back to the right, then gives up on the run. Rivera makes a full pass but doesn't get in the show. Left Lane: Jim Yates Runs 6.807/202.21, Now #11; Best prior run: 6.898/202.27, Was #21 Right Lane: Warren Johnson Runs 6.826/203.28, Now #12; Best prior run: 9.104/104.05, Was #25 Johnson broke the rear end in the first round. He makes a move to the right at the hit, steers it back in the groove, then goes on through and gets in the show for now. Yates goes right down the groove and gets in the 11th spot for now. Left Lane: Craig Hankinson Runs 6.811/202.09, Now #12; Best prior run: 6.885/202.03, Was #22 Right Lane: Bill Glidden Runs 6.918/199.37, Now #25; Best prior run: 7.093/171.64, Was #25 A couple of good runs, both right down the groove. Hankinson gets in the show, Glidden not close yet. Larry Morgan is on the bump spot at 6.844. Left Lane: Ben Watson Runs 6.872/200.62, Now #22; Best prior run: 6.874/200.26, Was #22 Right Lane: Matt Hartford Runs 6.815/202.55, Now #13; Best prior run: 6.912/202.09, Was #24 Hartford has a pretty good move out of the gate and gets in the field for now. No help for Watson. Johnson moves into the top half of the field. Naylor had better incrementals until half-track then fell back. Connolly makes them even, going right down the groove and moving all the way to the second spot. Left Lane: Richie Stevens Runs 6.769/202.97, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.788/203.00, Was #9 Right Lane: Justin Humphreys Runs 6.758/203.80, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.750/204.05, Was #1 Humphreys was the surprise leader in the clubhouse after the first round. He makes another good pass, not the quickest this session, but not far behind Connolly. Stevens improves and gets in the top half of the field.
