DINWIDDIE, Va. - 4 p.m. We are at Dinwiddie and it is raining - for some reason, that is not a big surprise, even though this area has been so dry for so long that lawn watering and car washing are prohibited.

Actually, it is not raining now, but it did start raining while the first pair of Pro Modified cars was preparing to make their first qualifying passes.

The Safety Safari is drying the track now, but we have not gotten any estimates of how long that will take or what the revised schedule will be, so come on back for updates in about an hour.
