ENNIS, Texas - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Modified at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 22nd annual O'Reilly NHRA Fall Nationals presented by Castrol Syntec:

Weather conditions: air temperature 87 degrees, relative humidity 42 percent, barometer 29.38 inches, adjusted altitude 2,752 feet, track temperature 125 degrees.

Stivers never moved when the light turned green. Payne got real loose around half track and did a great driving job saving that run.

Laird with his best pass of the weekend to take the win light. Commisso with violent tire shake, shook so hard that the parachute came out.
