ENNIS, Texas - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 22nd annual O'Reilly NHRA Fall Nationals presented by Castrol Syntec listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Right Lane: Max Naylor Runs 6.699/205.85, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.721/204.76, Was #12

Weather conditions: air temperature 81 degrees, relative humidity 47 percent, barometer 29.47 inches, adjusted altitude 2,264 feet, track temperature 114 degrees.

Naylor with a good pass to go to the number eight spot.


Left Lane: Dave Northrop Runs 7.668/135.37, Now #23; Best prior run: 6.798/203.31, Was #23
Right Lane: Jim Yates Runs 6.703/206.04, Now #9; Best prior run: 6.718/205.69, Was #12

No help here for Northrop...Yates with his best pass this weekend to move up to the number nine spot.

Left Lane: Greg Stanfield Runs 6.738/205.04, Now #19; Best prior run: 6.759/205.26, Was #20
Right Lane: Todd Hoerner Runs 6.807/203.77, Now #22; Best prior run: 6.779/203.83, Was #22

Stanfield with his best pass of the weekend, but he will not get into the show.

Left Lane: Tom Hammonds Runs 6.740/204.98, Now #20; Best prior run: 6.745/204.85, Was #20
Right Lane: Ben Watson Runs 6.752/203.52, Now #21; Best prior run: 6.768/202.94, Was #21

Both of these guys run their best passes of the weekend, but neither will get into the show.

Left Lane: Jason Line Runs 6.703/206.67, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.729/206.29, Was #16
Right Lane: Jeg Coughlin Runs 6.699/206.13, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.738/205.51, Was #18

Coughlin with a real nice pass here a good short time...Jeg Coughlin's incremental times: 60ft-0.992 sec., 330ft-2.796, 660ft-4.303/163.81mph, 1,000ft-5.605. He gets into the show and bumps out Hankinson. Line gets off the bubble spot.

Left Lane: Steve Schmidt Runs 7.041/160.84, Now #16; Best prior run: 6.725/205.04, Was #16
Right Lane: Mike Edwards Runs 6.730/204.94, Now #18; Best prior run: 6.731/204.73, Was #18

Edwards with his best pass of the weekend, but he will not get back into the show. Schmidt will stay on the bubble.

Left Lane: Kenny Koretsky Runs 6.736/204.35, Now #16; Best prior run: 6.724/205.16, Was #15
Right Lane: Craig Hankinson Runs 6.721/205.29, Now #15; Best prior run: 6.725/204.63, Was #17

Hankinson gets back into the show and that will bump our Schmidt and move Koretsky down to the bump spot.

Left Lane: V. Gaines Runs 6.697/205.26, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.717/205.35, Was #14
Right Lane: Kurt Johnson Runs 6.703/206.51, Now #12; Best prior run: 6.711/206.04, Was #13

Kenny Koretsky is on the bump spot at 6.724, and I belive they will just be racing for starting position now. Gaines with a good launch and parlayed that into his best pass of the weekend. He moves into the top half of the show. Johnson with his best pass of the weekend, but will only move up one spot on the ladder.

Left Lane: Warren Johnson Runs 6.714/205.76, Now #14; Best prior run: 6.705/206.20, Was #14
Right Lane: Larry Morgan Runs 6.701/206.26, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.698/205.35, Was #8

No help for either of these drivers.

Left Lane: Justin Humphreys Runs 6.706/205.41, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.692/205.94, Was #5
Right Lane: Ron Krisher Runs 6.759/205.04, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.696/205.63, Was #6

No help here for these two.

Left Lane: Allen Johnson Runs 6.705/205.35, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.690/205.69, Was #4
Right Lane: Richie Stevens Runs 6.695/205.98, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.687/205.60, Was #3

No help for either of these teammates, but still a couple good looking passes.

Left Lane: Greg Anderson Runs 6.685/206.61, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.668/206.92, Was #1
Right Lane: Dave Connolly Runs 6.677/206.73, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.686/205.72, Was #2

Great drag race to wrap up round three of Pro Stock qualifying...Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-0.993 sec., 330ft-2.792, 660ft-4.294/164.05mph, 1,000ft-5.593
Dave Connolly's incremental times: 60ft-0.991 sec., 330ft-2.790, 660ft-4.290/164.37mph, 1,000ft-5.586
