If I had a choice, finals would always be like this one - blown alcohol versus injected nitro.

Thacker lights his first bulb and waits patiently. Hirata goes in and then in a sportsmanlike manner, lights the second bulb and waits for Thacker to bump in.

Thacker is first to react and takes off with the fuel car in hot pursuit. We're all waiting for that nitro top end charge, but in this race it doesn't happen - at least enough for Hirata to go past Thacker.

Marty runs huge speed for a blown car and takes home the most coveted trophy in the drag racing world.
