CLERMONT, Ind. - Results of round 3 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 53rd annual Mac Tools U.S. Nationals:

We're getting close here, and Dixon is looking to continue his mastery of this track. He's only 3-5 vs Fuller, however. It's a battle of 2007 sponsors and it's great to see the new guys getting the spotlight.

Fuller overpowers the track early one and Dixon will once again be in the finals at the US Nationals.

Schumacher has an even better record here than Dixon, and he holds a 7-3 advantage over Melanie. It's a powerhouse battle of two powerhouse owners.

They leave together but Melanie's engine starts pumping smoke by 400 feet which gets increasingly worse.

Schumacher gets lane choice over Dixon by .001 second - one ten-thousandth of a second. The finals pairs the only two racers to win Indy since the turn of the century.
