CLERMONT, Ind. - Results of final, round 3 eliminations in Skoal Funny Car Showdown at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 26th annual Skoal Showdown:

Capps had the better light, but was in very deep and Beckman led at the 60-foot timer. They were locked together all the way to half track, then Capps started to close the gap, but ran out of race track. Jack Beckman's incremental margins: 60ft(0.022), 330 ft(0.022), 660ft(0.021), 1,000ft(0.019). MOV: 0.0159 seconds (approximately 7 feet). Beckman becomes the sixth driver to win the Showdown in his first start.
