Left Lane: Jason Hunt Runs 7.309/201.67, Now #3; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Ed Bergenholtz Runs 8.751/135.06, Now #5; Best prior run: 7.845/185.00, Was #4

5:12 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 83 degrees, relative humidity 33 percent, barometer 29.20 inches, adjusted altitude 2,617 feet, track temperature 118 degrees.

Nice pass by Hunt to move up to the current #3 spot. Bergenholtz loses ground and slows.

Rado's Sion left some stuff in the right lane. There was a lot of smoke out from underneath the little tC. Jimenez slows.

Right Lane: Marty Ladwig No Time, Now #2; Best prior run: 7.287/199.29, Was #2

Ladwig spooled up the turbo and rolled through the light before they were activated. Gardella's car is slow off the line and doesn't improve.
