Danielle Peck, originally from Jacksonville, NC who grew up in Coshocton, OH., will sing the
National Anthem prior to final eliminations of the 53rd annual NHRA Mac Tools U. S. Nationals on
Monday, Sept. 3rd at O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis. The 29 year old Peck, is a renowned
county music artist, best known for her hit songs "I Don't" and "Findin' a Good Man", both from her
self titled debut album, Danielle Peck, released on the Big Machine label in 2006.
The love of music Peck has comes from her parents who encouraged her singing at a young age. The
first song Peck ever sang was "Folsom Prison Blues" by the legendary Johnny Cash and her repertoire
includes song from Patsy Cline to Reba McEntire.
The Mac Tools U. S. Nationals is the premiere drag racing event held annually over Labor weekend at
ORP. This is also the first race in the Countdown to the Championship. Final round coverage of
the 53rd annual Mac Tools U. S. Nationals will be aired on ESPN2, Monday at Noon and Peck will be
featured during the broadcast.
