CHANDLER, Ariz. - Results of final, round 4 eliminations in Funny Car at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 23rd annual Checker Schuck's Kragen NHRA Nationals presented by Castrol:

Pedregon is 5-3 in national event finals and 1-0 when the driver in the other lane is named Hight. In the history of this event this is the 4th time the #1 and #2 qualifiers have met in the Funny Car final round. #2 has won two of those prior three. Tony qualified #2 at this event but he leaves with the national ET record and the twenty points that goes with it. That leaves Pedregon six points out of the #1 spot. Hight struck the tires early in the run and all he could do was watch the show.
