Harley-Davidson Motor Company announced today that rider GT Tonglet has been released from his
Screamin' Eagle Harley-Davidson race team contract.
Tonglet became the first NHRA rider to be sponsored by a Harley-Davidson factory team in 2002. He
finished a career-best second in NHRA points in 2005 and was 12th in 2006.
"GT has been an important contributor in our recent championship winning team," Harley-Davidson
Racing Manager Anne Paluso said. "He helped the program become more competitive and dynamic and he
will always be part of the Harley-Davidson family because of that. We wish him future success and
thank him for his years of service with the Screamin' Eagle program."
Possible replacement is still under consideration.
