Right Lane: Richie Stevens Runs 6.720/205.76, Now #12; Best prior run: 6.736/204.85, Was #18

Both cars improve and Stevens definitely gets the best of it to jump up six spots to the current #12 position.

Right Lane: Jim Yates Runs 6.735/205.19, Now #19; Best prior run: 6.739/205.32, Was #19

Right Lane: Tom Martino Runs 13.677/64.24, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.707/206.35, Was #7

Martino and Edwards both move towards the centerline at the hit. Martino has to rein in his wheel standing GTO and lifts. Edwards has the power to pull it back into the center of the lane and move up into the current #6 spot.

Left Lane: Greg Stanfield Runs 6.699/206.04, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.717/205.94, Was #13
Right Lane: V. Gaines Runs 6.730/205.57, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.705/205.94, Was #7

Stanfield makes a major statement with a huge improvement up the ladder. Nine spots on the ladder in this field is a big deal. Gains doesn't improve.

Left Lane: Allen Johnson Runs 6.686/206.07, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.688/207.27, Was #3
Right Lane: Dave Connolly Runs 6.700/206.26, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.701/206.35, Was #5

Jason, in yesterday's post qualifying interview, said that Anderson would get the top spot this session because of running in the left lane. Well, he ran better than Jason, but misses the top spot by .002 seconds. These two cars are the best again this weekend.

12:29 p.m. All of these guys will get one final chance about 3:00 p.m. this weekend.
