GAINESVILLE, Fla. --

Norm Froscher, author of the monthly Froscher's Forum and frequent other Drag Race Central pieces, was honored at pre-race ceremonies at the 26th annual Super Chevy Show at Gainesville, FL, Raceway.

Froscher, former Executive Sports Editor of the Gainesville Sun and free-lance magazine writer, was presented a media partnership plaque from the Series President, Roger Gustin.

"In appreciation of your coverage and contributions to the Super Chevy Show through these many years," said Gustin.

Froscher has covered the Super Chevy Show since the drag racing series' inception by NHRA's Dave McClelland 26 years ago. The Super Chevy Show concluded its 19-event 2006 season with the Gainesville's event.
