Abe outqualified Carr, and this is a heads up race.

Everyone is trying to catch their collective breath right now. Carr's car evidently had water under his right tire. On the leave, the car stood up and headed dead right. It was literally close to 90 degrees and pointing straight into the wall.

Even though we saw it with our own eyes, none of us here are able to believe what we saw as somehow Shane saved the car. He couldn't have missed piling straight into the guard wall by more than an inch or two. He yanked the car back, and after an ugly move to the left got the thing settled down in the middle of the track.

Lots of experienced people agree that it was one of the best driving jobs they can remember.

In all the excitement, Loewen takes the win.
