12:22 p.m. A/Fuel gets their first hit of the day. It's a short field so thay waited for round one. Wayne had problems as he staged and the engine didn't sound right. He was backing out of the beams when the tree went down. He went red and Waters took the win.

Bates is uncontested as Genco is a no show. Dr Bates legged it and sets low ET and top speed for the class and most likely clinches the championship.

Norton had the rpms sky high but still was just a tick late. Lavoie gets the win and moves on.
