Taylor is the only one still left who has a chance of taking the championship away from Butner. The bad news is that he has to win every round from here on out to do so. If he loses before the final at Pomona, Butner will be the 2006 Comp Champion.

Taylor takes the first step on that tough journey.

David Beckley's MOV: 0.0306 seconds (approximately 7 feet).

Amazing. I could hear Beckley whomping the throttle, working the finish line on a 190 mph pass. Ain't Comp great?

Lee Sharp's MOV: 0.0118 seconds (approximately 3 feet).

Gross can't (or won't) make up the reaction time disadvantage.

That's a heartbreaker for Lambeck. It's great light but it's tough to outrun a -.671 run.

Stewart makes a trip over to the wall on the leave, and that extra distance hurt him.
