Anderson was all over the left lane and shut off every early in the run. Left Lane: Dale Boomgaarden Runs 6.756/207.85, Now #3; Best prior run: 11.537/59.46, Was #11 Right Lane: Mike Leonard Runs 6.832/202.56, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.882/202.20, Was #6 Great side by side pair. Boomgaarden punches his way in and Leonard remains #6. Left Lane: Cecil Matthews Runs 7.420/188.32, Now #10; Best prior run: 7.132/195.69, Was #10 Right Lane: Ed Moss Runs 6.726/209.59, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.707/208.86, Was #2 Matthews with just a brutal John Force burnout in the T-bird. The burnout doesn't help and Matthews will watch on Sunday. Moss can't catch Woods. Left Lane: Rich Roberts Runs 7.369/185.29, Now #11; No Prior Run Right Lane: John Peterson Runs 6.935/197.10, Now #8; Best prior run: 7.028/193.29, Was #9 Peterson gets in on the bump but for the moment he's a sunday racer. Looks like an early exit for Roberts. Left Lane: Sean Renteria Runs 7.047/195.05, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.833/204.91, Was #7 Right Lane: Ron Nahas Runs 6.995/193.71, Now #10; Best prior run: 7.515/131.44, Was #12 Renteria doesn't improve from his first hit but remains #7. Nahas gets in the sixes with his new Willys but doesn't quite crack the field. Left Lane: Chris Abbey Runs 6.785/204.87, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.811/202.38, Was #4 Right Lane: Gary Reinero Runs 7.080/193.38, Now #9; Best prior run: 6.976/196.89, Was #9 Just not quite enough for Reinero as he remains the first alternate.
