Mozeris blows the tires off and actually creates smoke. He keeps the car straight after the hopping around it did.

Craig made a straight pass.

Left Lane: Clarence Thomas Runs 7.519/182.55/-0.341, Now #35; B/AA Index: 7.86, Prior Best: 7.651/182.11/-0.209, Was #38

Smith has not made a pass yet, so he's got a one shot deal going on here.

Hey, that's pretty impressive. He jams his way deep into the field.

Left Lane: David Beckley Runs 6.809/203.40/-0.681, Now #2; A/AA Index: 7.49, Prior Best: 6.787/204.88/-0.703, Was #2

No help for Beckley in getting the top spot, but he's gaining some valuable tuning info as it was a strong, straight pass.

Lots of interest in this turbo car. It has the capability of going to the top also.

Wow, that is a very fast bracket car. It also runs 208.

Left Lane: Bob Marshall Runs 7.363/188.25/-0.497, Now #31; B/AA Index: 7.86, Prior Best: 7.331/187.91/-0.529, Was #31

Good runs on both sides of the track, but neither moves up.

Left Lane: Bryan Fitzgerald Runs 8.008/166.93/-0.492, Now #33; E/AA Index: 8.50, Prior Best: 8.004/167.36/-0.496, Was #33
Right Lane: Vinnie Deceglie Runs 6.630/209.14/-0.650, Now #8; A/A Index: 7.28, Prior Best: 6.633/209.39/-0.647, Was #8

Jeff Lane is on the bump spot at -0.529.

With the way this session is shaping up, he may be save but hitters like Raybourn still are not in.

Morrison headed for the centerline and clicked it off Weather conditions: air temperature 62 degrees, relative humidity 39 percent, barometer 28.15 inches, adjusted altitude 2,503 feet, track temperature 76 degrees.

Left Lane: Alan Ellis Runs 6.820/199.82/-0.670, Now #7; A/AA Index: 7.49, Prior Best: 6.883/198.88/-0.607, Was #18
Right Lane: John Edwards Runs 7.738/176.35/-0.452, Now #20; C/AA Index: 8.19, Prior Best: 7.600/179.28/-0.590, Was #20

Ellis vaults from 18 to 7th on a great pass.

Both these cars are -.680 going in to the run.

Jones leaves a huge cloud of smoke as he crosses the line. We're lucky tonight as the track crew tells us there's no oil

Left Lane: Brad Plourd Runs 15.799/71.41/7.729, Now #34; C/ED Index: 8.07, Prior Best: 7.619/173.49/-0.451, Was #34

Plourd having problems this weekend, legend Bob Lambeck putting him on the line.

The problems continue as Plourd annihilated the tires once more and will not make it in the field.

Huggins has his own problems as he towed the parachute from about high gear on.

Left Lane: Jeff Lane Runs 8.079/161.96/-0.661, Now #9; B/SR Index: 8.74, Prior Best: 8.211/160.16/-0.529, Was #32

Lane would really like to get off the bump spot.

He does just that. He finally gets a decent run and breaks deep into the field.

Bowdish slows a bit from his previous.

Bob Marshall is on the bump spot at -0.529.

Another right lane single brings Lambeck back to the line.

This is only his second pass this weekend. He lifted long before the finish line.
