POMONA, Calif. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro RWD at the NHRA Xplod Sport Compact Drag Racing Series, Sixth Annual Nitto Tire NHRA Sport Compact World Finals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: Abel Ibarra Runs 11.556/86.73, Now #2
Right Lane: Gary Lee White Runs 6.929/188.36, Now #1

Ibarra hooked right and lifted right off the line. White lifted a little early at the top end.

Left Lane: Matt Scranton Runs 11.206/89.15, Now #3
Right Lane: Brad Personett Runs 6.656/215.17, Now #1

Scranton drove thru a ton of tire shake, then lifted. Personett is knocking on the track record door - Brad Personett's incremental times: 60ft-1.085 sec., 330ft-2.892, 660ft-4.361/168.62mph, 1,000ft-5.608 12:57 p.m.
