BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Results of round 1 eliminations in AA/Gas Supercharged at the California Hot Rod Reunion, 15th California Hotrod Reunion, presented by the Automobile Club of Southern California:

Much warmer than it's been all weekend for the AA/GS cars. Don't tell Moss about the conditions. He ties Renteria to a post, then runs away from him to rub salt into the wound.

Uh...Nunes wasn't late. Oops. Something must have distracted him as that was very unlike him. Anderson gets the win and a trip to the semis.

Leonad was behind at every timing mark used by NHRA dragracing, except that final stripe. Abbeby took the lead before 60 feet but something went South in the car before the finish and Leonard took the steel Chevelle around him for the win.

Both drivers were a bit late at the tree but both hustled down the track pretty well from there. It was Boomgaarden taking the win over White.
