HEBRON, Ohio - 2:45 p.m. - The weather situation is unstable and the hits just keep on coming.

Small rain cells are popping up around Columbus and moving over National Trail Raceway, quickly wiping out the efforts of the crew trying to dry the racing surface.

If the forecasters are correct, the rain should stop soon and we should be in the clear until late this evening. Race officials are considering various options, but have made no schedule changes so far, waiting to see how much more can be completed today.
