HEBRON, Ohio - 1:30 p.m. - Small rain showers have been popping up on the radar this afternoon and one them ended up right on top of National Trail
Raceway, bringing things to a stop near the end of the second qualifying session for Super Stock.
The MOPAR Hemi Challenge cars were about three pairs away from the head of staging when the rain hit.
The rain didn't last long, but was heavy enough to thoroughly wet down the race track from end to end, so it will take a while to
get things dry enough to start racing again. The track was over 100 degrees before the rain started, so should dry quickly.
The Sun is already peeking through the clouds, which will help with the drying process.
