KENT, Wash. - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 19th annual Schuck's Auto Supply NHRA Nationals presented by Lucas Oil listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Shaun Carlson Runs 8.389/119.35, Now #19; Best prior run: 6.791/203.77, Was #19
Right Lane: Tony Rizzo Runs 6.890/201.10, Now #22; Best prior run: 6.959/200.02, Was #22

Weather conditions: air temperature 79 degrees, relative humidity 66 percent, barometer 29.90 inches,adjusted altitude 1,656 feet, track temperature 98 degrees.

We start this session with Erica Enders is on the bump spot at 6.776. Rizzo was out of the groove and over close to the centerline. Carlson with a nice launch, but then just past half track the car went silent.

Lee with a great looking pass to get into the top half of the show. Tom Lee's incremental times: 60ft-1.011 sec., 330ft-2.826, 660ft-4.335/163.00mph, 1,000ft-5.633 Watson sneaks into the show on the bubble. These two knock out Pawuk and Enders.

Right Lane: Mike Thomas Runs 6.764/204.01, Now #14; Best prior run: 6.799/203.77, Was #21

Krisher with a really nice pass to get into the top half of the show. Ron Krisher's incremental times: 60ft-1.010 sec., 330ft-2.822, 660ft-4.333/162.76mph, 1,000ft-5.633 Thomas gets into the show and they bump out Naylor and Watson and Watson has already run this session.

Right Lane: Erica Enders Runs 6.762/203.80, Now #15; Best prior run: 6.776/203.37, Was #20

Naylor with a good clean pass to get into the top half of the show. Enders just gets in at the number 15 spot. They bump out Martino and Edwards. Mike Thomas is on the bump spot at 6.764.

Right Lane: Mark Pawuk Runs 6.751/204.85, Now #12; Best prior run: 6.776/203.98, Was #20

Edwards with a good clean pass to get into to the top half of the show. Mike Edwards' incremental times: 60ft-1.001 sec., 330ft-2.816, 660ft-4.330/162.41mph, 1,000ft-5.634 Pawuk gets back into the show with a nice pass. They bump out enders and Thomas and they both have already made their passes this session.

This was great drag race as they both launched hard and blasted on through the 1320. Tom Martino's incremental times: 60ft-0.993 sec., 330ft-2.813, 660ft-4.323/163.08mph, 1,000ft-5.624
Kurt Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-0.986 sec., 330ft-2.794, 660ft-4.302/163.31mph, 1,000ft-5.601 Martino bumped out Stevens. Larry Morgan is on the bump spot at 6.760.

Left Lane: Richie Stevens Runs 6.722/205.41, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.761/204.60, Was #17
Right Lane: Greg Stanfield Runs 6.720/205.29, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.741/204.91, Was #12

Stanfield gets into the top half of the show. Stevens gets back into the show in the top half of the field. Stevens bumped out Morgan, Jim Yates is on the bump spot at 6.760.

Left Lane: Larry Morgan Runs 6.737/205.07, Now #13; Best prior run: 6.760/204.63, Was #17
Right Lane: Warren Johnson Runs 6.724/204.66, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.732/205.98, Was #10

WJ gets back into the top half of the show and Morgan gets back into the show. Morgan bumped out Yates, Allen Johnson is on the bump spot at 6.751.

Left Lane: Jim Yates Runs 6.723/205.29, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.760/205.22, Was #17
Right Lane: Dave Connolly Runs 6.721/204.94, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.728/206.07, Was #8

Yates gets back into the show in the top half of the show. He bumped out allen Johnson. Connolly wit his best pass of the weekend.

Left Lane: Allen Johnson Runs 6.700/205.88, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.751/204.60, Was #17
Right Lane: V. Gaines Runs 6.734/205.22, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.726/205.32, Was #9

Johnson with a great pass to get back in the show and he bumps out Pawuk and puts Max Naylor is on the bump spot at 6.740. Gaines is one of the few cars that didn't improve on their run in this session.

Left Lane: Greg Anderson Runs 6.707/206.86, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.735/206.48, Was #14
Right Lane: Jason Line Runs 6.708/205.69, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.690/206.80, Was #1

The Summit cars side by side all the way down the track, no help for Line, but he stays number one. Anderson gets back into the top half of the show with his quickest pass of the weekend. Anderson with fastest pass of the weekend 206.86 mph.
