MORRISON, Colo. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 27th annual Mopar Mile-High NHRA Nationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Right Lane: Scott Lewis Runs 7.758/173.23, Now #1

4:12 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 96 degrees, relative humidity 25 percent, barometer 24.87 inches,adjusted altitude 8,119 feet, track temperature 136 degrees.

Lewis moved to the left of the groove before the 330-foot mark and he was skating around quite a bit at half track.

Left Lane: Blaine Hale Runs 10.381/84.47, Now #3
Right Lane: Buddy Robinson Runs 7.767/173.41, Now #2

Hale was wiggling around for the first 200 feet.

No apparent problems for either rider.

Guidera bogged on the hit and he coasted down the track. The timing system had resent before he reached the finish line so he registered no time.

Right Lane: Ryan Schnitz Runs 7.545/178.76, Now #8

Stoffer was close to the centerline at half track.

Left Lane: Antron Brown Runs 7.505/179.56, Now #3
Right Lane: Chip Ellis Runs 7.492/177.04, Now #1

Brown moved to the left of the groove just before the 330-foot mark.
