Pro Nostalgia Qualifying Notes, Final Session

EDMONTON, Alb. - Notes from final, round 3 qualifying in Pro Nostalgia at the 2006 eMax Drag Racing Series, CARS RV & Marine & Motorsports Rocky Mountain Nationals presented by TORCO Racing Fuels listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed this round, amount over/under index this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time, speed & over/under Index, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Brent Harris Runs 7.613/181.37/7.233, Now #3; PN Index: 0.38, Prior Best: 7.566/180.55/7.186, Was #3
Right Lane: Dave Robinson Runs 11.201/73.18/10.821, Now #9; PN Index: 0.38, Prior Best: 7.989/167.74/7.609, Was #9

4:01 p.m.Weather conditions: air temperature 77 degrees, relative humidity 33 percent, barometer 28.15 inches,adjusted altitude 3,477 feet, track temperature 109 degrees.

Harris made a good-looking run, no help. Robinson shook and slowed early in the run.


Left Lane: Tim Boychuk Runs 7.531/179.06/7.151, Now #3; PN Index: 0.38, No Prior Run
Right Lane: Joey Steckler Runs 7.510/183.69/7.130, Now #9; PN Index: 0.38, No Prior Run

Two nice runs that should improve Steckler's hold on #1 and move Boychuk into second place in the order.

Left Lane: Cory Kincaid Runs 7.877/170.79/7.557, Now #3; PN Index: 0.32, No Prior Run
Right Lane: Darrell Webb Runs 7.648/180.48/7.328, Now #9; PN Index: 0.32, No Prior Run

No help for Kincaid, but that run should give Webb a much better position on the ladder.

Left Lane: Eddy Plaizier Runs 7.544/179.02/7.224, Now #3; PN Index: 0.32, No Prior Run
Right Lane: Jay Mageau Runs 7.418/185.36/7.098, Now #9; PN Index: 0.32, No Prior Run

Before they ran, Plaizer was second with a first round 7.530, Mageau fifth at 7.572. Plaizer came close, but did not improve, and Mageau went way under the magic 7.50 number, also no help.

Left Lane: Tony Kupris Runs 7.648/186.38/7.328, Now #3; PN Index: 0.32, No Prior Run

Kupris shook and bounced the front tires several times, still made his best run oif the weekend.

That closes out qualifying for the Pro Nostalgia group, they will be back at the end of the Pro session for their first round of eliminations.
