Right Lane: Kevin Therres Runs 5.993/232.35, Now #2

Nice pass by Krause, the unofficial track record holder with a 245.63 mph run here in August of last year on an exhibition run. Theres was not far behind, two strong runs by Canadian drivers.

Left Lane: John Evanchuk Runs 6.848/145.53, Now #7
Right Lane: Terry McMillen Runs 5.984/213.74, Now #2

McMillen may have set a track record for launching the hood hatch, sending his a couple hundred feet in the air near the finish line. Evanchuk struggled to about 1,000 feet, then slowed.

Left Lane: Trevor Lebsack Runs 6.394/229.82, Now #7
Right Lane: Thomas Carter Runs 6.239/225.86, Now #6

Alan Tarapaski was on the bump spot at 7.275, Evanchuk next at 6.848.

Lebsack shook and skated out toward the wal, pedaled, then continued. Carter's car shook about 100 feet out and he also may have pedaled to get through it.

Not on File was on the bump spot at 6.646. Atchison's car shook and got very sideways, forcing him to lift. Thomas made a smooth, straight pass to close out the round.
