Yamarino had a huge holeshot against Mercure's uncharacteristically late launch, but still could not hold off the 2005 champion. Paul Mercure's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.108), 330 ft(-0.092), 660ft(-0.032), 1,000ft(0.041). MOV: 0.1110 seconds (approximately 21 feet).

Carr did his job, but Kenney had too much under the hood for him. Kenney has lane choice against Mercure next round.
