Kuhns won the Pro Mod race here in 2001 in a rain-postponed race. Kuhns left first, but could not hold Ashley off and Ashley opened the edge on the top end. Mike Ashley's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.004), 330 ft(0.001), 660ft(0.003), 1,000ft(0.010). MOV: 0.0255 seconds (approximately 8 feet).

Patterson shook and pedaled a few times before throwing in the towel. Halsey went right down the groove for the win. He faces Ashley next round, Ashley has lane choice.

Barklage's brother, Zach, has a GTO coming so the brothers can run identical cars. Payne led this one all the way for a holeshot win, a close one. This was ugly, Stivers late off the starting line and Critchley even later. Then Stivers' car got out of shape, almost slapping the wall. He pedaled a couple times, then almost crossed the centerline before lifting. Critchley will race Payne in the semifinals, Payne has lane choice.
