Ray with a big starting line advantage, but then had a lot of tire shake and got out of the groove and had to wrestle it off the centerline.

Payne with problems and slowed, but still took the win light.

Chesterman with a big starting line advantage, but Newberry was able to chase him down by the 330-foot mark. Newberry blasted on through for the win light Bob Newberry's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.006), 330 ft(0.012), 660ft(0.016), 1,000ft(0.015). MOV: 0.0127 seconds (approximately 5 feet).

Chesterman must of used up an engine as the Safety Safari rolls for the clean up.
