GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 36th annual MAC Tools NHRA Gatornationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Chris Rivas Runs 12.827/57.39, Now #24; Best prior run: 7.399/145.20, Was #24

Weather conditions: air temperature 68 degrees, relative humidity 44 percent, barometer 29.99 inches, adjusted altitude 685 feet, track temperature 84 degrees.

Bike bogged right off the starting line.


Left Lane: Paul Gast Runs 7.178/184.72, Now #15; Best prior run: 13.194/56.85, Was #33

Gast blew up his engine last night and rebuilt it. Gast with a great pass to get in the show and this gives us the quickest Pro Stock Motorcycle field ever.

Angelle with a nice pass the quickest of the session.

Hines with the quickest pass of the session and is quick enough to back up the 6.991 pass for a National E.T. record and his speed from last night is fast enough to back up this mph for the National mph record.

Mike Berry is on the bump spot at 7.171.
