Wyatt had problems getting the car to fire and will have to wait until tomorrow. Left Lane: Frank Pedregon Runs 7.563/115.65, Now #9; No Prior Run Right Lane: Bob Gilbertson Runs 10.954/123.67, Now #13; Best prior run: 14.541/45.62, Was #18 Pedregon got to about 100 feet and started to lose traction and was off and when he got back on the throttle the front end went skyward and when came back to earth he clicked it off. Gilbertson lost traction early and pedaled it one time and went back up in smoke and clicked it off. Left Lane: Jeff Arend Runs 11.053/74.25, Now #15; Best prior run: 12.748/66.29, Was #19 Right Lane: Jim Head Runs 12.036/64.24, Now #18; Best prior run: 12.607/60.18, Was #18 They both made it to about 100 feet before they lost traction and lifted. Left Lane: Whit Bazemore Runs 5.232/214.54, Now #7; Best prior run: 12.138/68.85, Was #19 Right Lane: Gary Scelzi No Time, Now #17; Best prior run: 11.442/75.03, Was #16 Scelzi starts to lose traction and pedals it and then heads toward the centerline and he can't reel it in and crosses the centerline. Bazemore made it a little further down the track before he lost traction and pedaled it one time and he got close to the centerline, but keep it in his lane. Left Lane: Phil Burkart Runs 8.213/103.60, Now #12; Best prior run: 12.022/75.91, Was #18 Burkart started to lose traction and pedaled once and then twice, but couldn't get it to hook up and clicked it off. Left Lane: Del Worsham Runs 4.848/306.33, Now #2; Best prior run: 10.991/75.48, Was #16 Right Lane: Eric Medlen Runs 4.773/326.08, Now #1; Best prior run: 7.807/110.42, Was #11 This was a great drag race, Medlen was straight down the groove with the candles lit all the way down the 1320. Medlen grabs the number one spot and both ends of the track record. Worsham had a little wiggle on the top end, but still had a nice pass for the number two spot. Left Lane: Robert Hight Runs 10.924/83.00, Now #14; Best prior run: 9.047/101.66, Was #14 Right Lane: Tony Pedregon Runs 5.273/219.56, Now #8; Best prior run: 5.074/245.23, Was #8 Hight lost traction early in the run and clicked it off. Pedregon started to lose traction pedaled it one time and then started to eat up the engine before he clicked it off. Left Lane: Tommy Johnson Jr. Runs 8.772/95.96, Now #11; Best prior run: 7.186/121.72, Was #11 Right Lane: Tim Wilkerson Runs 9.166/96.31, Now #6; Best prior run: 5.014/259.14, Was #6 Wilkerson smokes the hides first and clicks it off, and Johnson Jr. then loses traction. Left Lane: Gary Densham Runs 9.684/99.32, Now #10; Best prior run: 5.508/283.46, Was #10 Right Lane: John Force Runs 4.775/329.42, Now #2; Best prior run: 4.928/319.94, Was #5 Force straight down Broadway with great looking pass, but will be number two behind his teammate, but grabs the track mph record. Densham loses traction and clicks it off. Left Lane: Cruz Pedregon Runs 5.190/212.91, Now #7; Best prior run: 5.016/222.66, Was #7 Pedregon started to lose traction and pedaled it one and then again before clicking it off early. Medlen stays number one and Gilbertson is on the bump spot at 10.954 seconds.
