GAINESVILLE, Fla. - 8:30 a.m. - Super Stock was called to the lanes for a 7:30 start, but track drying in the shutdown area has delayed the start of competition.

Once racing starts, things should move along at a brisk pace, the weather forecast calling for improving weather today and through the weekend.

Temperatures are supposed to be on the cool side all weekend, in the mid-sixties today and mid-seventies Saturday and Sunday, so new performance records are a possibility.
