Weld Racing has reached an agreement with the Cagnazzi Racing NHRA Pro Stock Team and sensation Erica Enders to compete exclusively with Weld Racing Wheels in 2006.

22 year old Enders will drive the Slammers Ultimate Milk Chevy Cobalt equipped with Weld Racing Wheels for Cagnazzi Racing and Crew Chief Roy Simmons on the tough NHRA Pro Stock division. Enders is no stranger to NHRA competition, as she has moved up the ranks from a humble beginning at The age of 8 years old competing and winning in Junior Dragster with Division 4. Just a few years later in 1995 she would be named Junior Dragster Driver of the Year. Enders, who is studying Sports Marketing at Texas A&M University, has turned a career-best elapsed time of 6.67, along with her best speed of 206.48 mph. Also with the Junior Dragster accolades, Enders has driven Super Gas where she became the 35th woman in NHRA history to earn a national event victory.

Super Comp and Top Alcohol Funny car competition were stepping stones to the ultra-tough NHRA Pro Stock class, where Enders became the first female to reach a final round in NHRA Pro Stock history. Enders accomplished this feat at Chicago's NHRA event in September 2005, and has been recognized by the NHRA as a nominee for the NHRA Powerade Rookie of the year for the 2005 season.

Weld Motorsports welcomes Enders and the entire Cagnazzi Racing Team aboard the most recognized wheel in NHRA competition, the Weld Racing Wheel.
