SPOKANE, Wash -- Bob Sterling, President/CEO of AIRCAT Pneumatic Tools announced that his company will join Bob Gilbertson's Autolite XP Spark Plugs/Prestone Antifreeze nitro Funny Car team for the 2006 season.

AIRCAT manufactures a patented noise reducing muffler/filter device for all forms of air tools and currently markets it's own line of air impact wrenches under the registered trademarks AIRCAT and NitroCat brand.

"We built a impact wrench specially designed for the motorsports industry, the NitroCat, and teaming up with Bob is a great way to get our product out there and put it to real-world testing," Sterling said. "It's no secret that racing mechanics are tough on tools and the NitroCat is up to the challenge, we're proud of our product and with Bob and his crew's input we can continually refine it."

"My guys really like the NitroCat," Gilbertson added. "They've been testing them in the shop and they all dig the composite grip, it's a lot lighter and more powerful than the guns we've been using. When you're slinging guns around doing between rounds maintenance weight and performance count and NitroCat delivers just that."
