Austin had problems getting the engine started, the battery on the starter was dead. Reichert's crew loaned him their battery to crank the engine. Austin outs a big hole-shot on Reichert and starts pulling away. He extends his lead to half-track, then Reichert starts to reel him in. Reichert drives around him just past the 1000-foot mark and hangs on for the win. Bill Reichert's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.054), 330 ft(-0.087), 660ft(-0.052), 1,000ft(-0.002). MOV: 0.0326 seconds (approximately 13 feet).

Force gets a hole-shot and needed every bit of it. Windham quickly starts to reel her in but runs out of race-track.

Federlin gets the hole-shot, but Olivarez starts making up ground and drives around him before they reach the 1000-foot mark. Olivarez will give up lane choice to Reichert in round three.

Will leaves first, then Torrence starts to reel her in. Torrence drives around before they reach the 330-foot mark, then makes the quickest pass of the weekend and takes the win. He will have lane choice over Force in round three.
