POMONA, Calif. -- Superwinch, America's leading manufacturer of winches, power drives, mounting systems, hubs and accessories, has entered into a multi-year, associate sponsorship and Official Winch product supplier agreement with Don Schumacher Racing.

Chuck Thompson, Vice-president and Director of Sales and Marketing for the Putnam, Conn.-based Superwinch Company said in a prepared statement, "A tremendous associate sponsorship and product supplier opportunity was presented to Superwinch by Don Schumacher Racing. It was something that we just could not pass up. We are extremely happy to be a part of the Don Schumacher Racing Family."

Don Schumacher, owner of the largest professional NHRA team operation said, "We are honored to have Superwinch, a leader in their industry and a long-time supporter of NHRA drag racing, as a multi-year sponsor of DSR."

Superwinch identification will appear prominently on the Brut Dodge Stratus Funny Car driven by Ron Capps. Additionally, Superwinch logos will be displayed on driver and crew uniforms, show vehicles, transporters, technology, and hospitality trailers.

Schumacher went on to say, "Although our agreement doesn't officially begin until the start of the 2006 season, as an up-front way to say thank you I have gone ahead and placed Superwinch logos on all of the DSR racing vehicles competing in the final season event at Pomona (Nov. 3-6). Should Ron Capps or Gary Scelzi go on to capture a Funny Car world championship, Superwinch will be part of our celebration."
